Maskido and Inspaya Academy team up on creative computing for children
We signed a memorandum of understanding with Inspaya Academy in Abuja to run a creative computing programme for children and teenagers.
Maskido has signed a memorandum of understanding with Inspaya Academy, a digital and tech training institution in Abuja's Central Business District. Together we are launching a Creative Computing Programme for children and teenagers aged 5 to 13.
What children will learn
The programme covers the four areas Maskido teaches every day:
- Drone technology: how drones fly, and how to fly them safely
- Robotics engineering: building and programming machines that move and sense
- Creative coding: making games, stories and animations with code
- Artificial intelligence: how machines learn from examples, and how to use AI responsibly
Learning is hands-on and built around challenges, so every session ends with something the children have made. Both partners are providing mentors, equipment and tools.
Signing the agreement
The agreement was signed at Inspaya Academy's office by Abdulazeez Muhammad, CEO of Maskido, with Ademuyiwa Taofeek, MD/CEO of Inspaya Academy, and the Inspaya team.
Places on the programme are limited. To ask about enrolling, contact us.
